About us

Audiovisual production excellence, taught step by step

We help television networks, production companies and live event teams build better studios and calmer galleries.

Our story

Why newspadix exists

newspadix began with a simple frustration: the knowledge needed to run a broadcast facility was scattered across manuals, forums and the heads of a few senior engineers.

We gathered it into one course covering studio design, camera control systems, professional lighting arrangements, sound engineering and the workflows that tie them together for television networks and live events.

Today the course is used by crews and facility managers across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to plan new builds, upgrade existing galleries and train new team members.

What we stand for

Principles behind every lesson

Practical first

Every lesson ends with something you can use on a real production: a plot, a patch list or a checklist.

Clear and honest

We explain trade-offs between systems and budgets plainly, so you can make confident decisions.

Built with the industry

Content is reviewed by working engineers from UK studios, galleries and outside broadcast units.
